Ace at 20wks

I set off from the house at 4am to meet my new prince. Even during the embargo, flying the redeye leaving Los Angeles at 9pm flying during the cool of the evening.

Ace arrived at Dulles airport near Washington, DC at 6:35 am on Saturday, September 7th. I was greeted to kisses thru the crate door while I signed for his release from airline custody.

Ace is solid white with a black & tan head, striking to behold. He's a terrier alright! Sweet but fiesty and always ready to go. But don't try grinding his nails or shaving his whiskers! Wheeeeeeeeewy, can he belt out a tune of discontent.

Ace's first AKC show

Ace was shown in the Miscellaneous classes in the Fall of 2002. He wasn't competing for points, but he sure enjoyed himself!

Ace at 20wks

His first "points" show were in Pennsauken, NJ on January 17th, 18th & 19th of 2003, right after the breed was accepted for conformation competition.

Ace's first points

Ace has been shown off and on during 2003, most of the time he was the only TFT entered at the show. His first points came in the form of a 4 point major from the 12-18 month class!

DNA Certification

Ace was DNA tested for Congenital Hypothyroidism with Goiter (CHG) in Toy Fox Terriers (TFT).
The DNA evidence classified Ace as: NORMAL CHG normal (aka clear) dogs are free from the hereditary disease and will not produce CHG in their offspring, even when bred with CHG carriers.
