I bid farewell to Nugget yesterday. A dignified gentleman unto the end.
His final resting place is high atop a field of buttercups at Delcrest Farm. It is a beautiful site befitting such a great friend and companion. From this lofty perch, his spirit can soar and float among the air currents above the farm.
As I laid him down for the last time, in the field of buttercups, I kissed his frail head and I know that his spirit knew it.
